Engineering.

As a Engineering student, I am driven to empower others to pursue Engineering and other STEM careers who might not otherwise see it as an option. One organization I am passionate about is Girl Develop It. With over 2000 members in the Detroit chapter alone, the sense of community and supportive environment allow anyone interested in programming or web development to give it a shot! I began as a student and TA and now support the chapter as a co-organizer and instructor!

Anyone at any time can decide to take the plunge into a STEM field. If you want to read more about my switch into Engineering, check out my post!
